The committee meets each month to discuss and agree a variety of topics to ensure our u3a provides opportunity for its members to participate in a variety of activities while upholding the u3a principles - learn, laugh, live - and comply with necessary procedures. The committee members:
- manage the membership and finances
- organise the monthly meetings and other events
- coordinate and support our interest groups
- keep our members up to date with news and events
- link in with area and national u3a
- implement and review key administrative documents.

The committee meets at 2-4pm on the first Tuesday of the month at the Newent Community Centre.
